OUR COUNTRY GIRL HITS THE ROAD AGAIN

Recently returning from the South Coast Country Music Festival with another 5 trophies to add to her collection , Mt Annan’s Tori Darke heads to Queensland to perform at the Charters Towers Country Music Festival reported to be the biggest talent quest in the southern hemisphere.

Tori has been keeping extremely busy working 3 days a week and performing at many venues in the Sydney region. As well as her regular monthly show at Menangle House, Tori performs weekly at the Antico Woodfried Restaurant at Narellan.

Tori recently invited and performed at the Belrose Country Music Club where each month a Country Showcase is held. Club President - Geoff Williams stated “Just when we think it’s safe to think we’ve seen it all, along comes a fabulous young performer like Tori Darke. Tori’s beautiful vocals had the audience spellbound. Her high-quality renditions had everyone calling for more, WOW! This young lady is really going places. We’ll be watching you, Tori and hope to see you back at Belrose soon”

Tori has also been invited to perform at the Nelson Bay Diggers Club for the Blue Water Country Music Festival on the 6/7th June, prior to attending the Tamworth Camerata College of Country Music. Tori is the recipient of a Scholarship to the 6 day school held annually for up and coming country music artists under the age of 18. Courtesy of the St. Arnauds Country Music Club.

With booking well into 2008 including the Blue Water & Macarthur Country Music Festivals, McDonald House and Careflight Helicopter fundraisers, Barmedman Ute Festival, Parkes Country Music Festival and the Gympie Muster Tori is certainly in for a very busy year and with her dedication and commitment she is assured of her star continuing to shine in the country music arena.
